Categories

Since version 7 OpenCms allows to create and assign categories to resources using the context menu option "Relations > Assign Categories"

There is two ways of creating categories:

• Creating a folder in the system category folder ("/system/categories/").
• Create your own decentralized category container. The decentralized container must be named "_categories" and can be placed anywhere on your site. (versions 7.5+)
